The above quote was written by an English poet, John Gay.
Being optimistic isn't really my cup of tea. I call myself a realist, you call me a pessimist. I see things at face value, in black and white, and then I criticize to the very core until there's nothing left but brick dust. I don't omit myself from that same judgment either.
I've been a really [shitty] bad friend to some of the best people, and it took having to say goodbye to someone very special to wake me up. I've never known how to say goodbye. It's all a new experience for me. I don't like it.
Right now I'm in a little bit of denial. I still feel like he's right down the road sitting on his computer, and I'll see him in a few days, just like I have for the past four years. I'm at a loss for words honestly. Life is all about adjusting to new surroundings, changes, and trials...
God help me.
"Cast your cares on the LORD and He will sustain you; He will never let the righteous be shaken."
Psalm 55:22
you have a way with words like on one else. "right down the road sitting on his computer..."
